How to Find the Best Luxury Villas in Mykonos
Since becoming a Mum, my overseas adventures have taken a bit of a hiatus. My last trip abroad was our babymoon to Dubrovnik last October, which means its almost been a full year since flying overseas (a LONG time for a travel blogger). I’ve had my hands full, getting to grips with motherhood, but that hasn’t stopped me from dreaming of far away lands and dreaming up my next trips. 2020 will be the year I restart my overseas travels, including a trip to Mykonos for my friends wedding. When I found out about the wedding I instantly began dreaming of white washed vistas, blue checked table clothes and luxury villas in Mykonos.

I started my research with Kinglike Mykonos, who have a stunning online portfolio of over 200 luxury villas in Mykonos. The company offers many complimentary services such as 24/7 guest support, airport pick-up and drop off, villa pre-stocking and daily housekeeping. With my future trip to Greece in mind, I’ve put together a round up of my favourite Kinglike luxury villas in Mykonos. Most of these properties have made my shortlist because of their incredible views, gorgeous pool areas and stylish interiors.
1. Villa The Spot, Mykonos Town
Bedrooms: 6
Sleeps: 12
Drive Time from Mykonos Airport: 8 mins
Drive Time from Mykonos Town: 8 mins
Villa The Spot seems to tick every box of my Myconian fantasy. From the panoramic vista and the white-washed buildings below to the simple and bright interiors, this villa is quintessentially Myconian. The view at sunset looks incredible and I also love its location which is in Mykonos Town.
2. Villa Zeynep, Kalafatis
Bedrooms: 4
Sleeps: 8
Drive Time from Mykonos Airport: 20 mins
Drive Time from Mykonos Town: 22 mins
I adore the look of Villa Zeynep because it has a rustic feel to it and reminds me of a Puglian Masseria in Italy. The pebbled pool area looks incredibly chic and the wood-fired BBQ and outdoor dining area is a real asset to this property. Just imagine warm starry nights and delicious al fresco dinners under that pergola.
3. Villa Boutique, Pouli
Bedrooms: 4
Sleeps: 8
Drive Time from Mykonos Airport: 13 mins
Drive Time from Mykonos Town: 14 mins
If you want to feel like you’re staying in a stylish boutique hotel, but want it all to yourself, this luxury villa is the one. The poolside area, complete with its panoramic vista, is absolutely spectacular and the comfy bean bag loungers are exactly where I’d love to be right now. I also like the graduated steps that frame the pool as it would be a lovely place for children to play if supervised. Villa Boutique is definitely one of the most special luxury villas in Mykonos.
4. Villa Judith, Choulakia
Bedrooms: 5
Sleeps: 10
Drive Time from Mykonos Airport: 18 mins
Drive Time from Mykonos Town: 20 mins
Villa Judith really caught my attention because of its traditional architecture. Its striking rounded edges suggest that the building is full of history, yet inside the interiors are bright, luxurious and modern. Its wonderfully Myconian in style and also makes my shortlist because of the incredible panorama, outdoor pool and seating areas. Life in Greece is meant to be enjoyed al fresco!
5. Villa Debby, Elia
Bedrooms: 4
Sleeps: 8
Drive Time from Mykonos Airport: 22 mins
Drive Time from Mykonos Town: 24 mins
I like that Villa Debby spreads across multiple levels, making it feel like there are lots of different spaces in just one property. The luxury villa has been designed to make the most of the fantastic view, including the quirky and characterful outdoor dining area. There are so many different living spaces and cosy corners to discover, and I like that the bi-fold doors of the kitchen mean you can cook with a sea breeze.
My research for luxury villas in Mykonos has got me even more excited to restart my overseas travels again and to visit the beautiful island of Mykonos myself next year. I found the usability of the Kinglike Mykonos website to be fantastic and would be a great place to start for anyone searching for luxury accommodation in Mykonos.
