This post is Part 2 of the diary I kept during my week of sailing around the Greek Islands. If you haven’t read it already, be sure to read The Greek Sailing Diaries Part 1. As there was no Wi-Fi on the yacht, I wrote it all by hand. I’m so used to blogging on my laptop, I found it… View Post

Sivota… View Post

With my upcoming sailing trip to Greece on the 9th June, it’s around about that time when I start to clamber into the depths of my wardrobes to retrieve many of my most loved summer classics. As I brush off the cobwebs from my old faithfuls and of course make a few new purchases along the way, I thought I… View Post

Preparing for My Greek Sailing Holiday

As a travel-mad individual, I’m all for discovering something, someone and somewhere new every time I travel. So I rarely revisit the same place twice. But on this rare occasion, I have to admit that this Sunday  I will be returning to a place I love and know very well. Greece. Yes I know what the food is like, yes… View Post

Having just finished an exhilarating trek with an all girls’ World Challenge team from Pretoria, I’m tired to my bones. Not one to frequently find herself in the lap of exotic luxury, Guest Blogger Sophie Stewart couldn’t believe her luck when she was told she would be jetting off to the Maldives to celebrate her Mum’s 50th birthday earlier this year. Swapping her high flying London job for a week of pure relaxation at the 5* Moofushi Island Resort in… View Post

The story behind the reel: last weekend we visited The story behind the reel: last weekend we visited the little coastal town of Staithes on the North Yorkshire coast. It was cold, windy, raining and then hail stones came down when we reached the harbour. Things weren’t going so well, until we stumbled across @cod_and_lobster_official and spontaneously ran in for shelter.

We entered a cosy little haven, with a lit fire and hot coffee. We hid from the cold and by the time we left, the skies had changed and sun was breaking through the clouds. Perfect timing to climb up the hill to the iconic Staithes view point. We couldn’t have asked for more. ✨

Be sure to add Staithes to your list if you ever come to North Yorkshire, and check out my previous reel for an ideal base to explore 🌿
